Alpaws Terms of Service

Alpaws is a booking platform that connects dog owners with vetted, independent local dog walkers across the Trois Vallées. You pick a time; we automatically match the best available walker to your dog. Services are 30-minute walk blocks and half-day or full-day daycare.

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. Keep your login details safe — bookings made from your account are yours. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@alpaws.app.

The price shown at booking is the walker’s rate for the selected service, plus any service fee shown before you pay. Payment is taken securely by Stripe, and a booking is confirmed only once payment succeeds.

Cancellation and refund terms are those shown at checkout for your booking.

Walkers are independent professionals, not Alpaws employees. Before they can accept bookings we verify their ACACED training, civil liability insurance, and DDPP registration where applicable.

Every booking is also governed by the Alpaws Care Agreement, which sets out custody of the dog, the owner’s declarations, liability and emergencies. You accept it at booking; you can read it any time at alpaws.app/care-agreement.

Don’t provide false information, misuse the platform, or treat walkers disrespectfully. We may suspend accounts that put dogs, walkers or owners at risk.

We work hard to keep Alpaws reliable, but the service is provided as-is and we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Responsibility for the dog during a service is set out in the Care Agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under French law, and consumers keep all their statutory rights.

The Alpaws name, logo, design and content belong to Alpaws and may not be reused without permission.

These terms are governed by French law, and disputes go to the competent French courts. We may update these terms; the version date above will change and significant updates will be announced by email or in the app.
